Blocking Offensive Materials

As Christians, one of our deepest concerns is that of purity (Matt. 5:8). As we endeavor to raise our children with Christian principles, we feel it extremely important to be sure that our children do not have access to those things which we feel would be harmful for them to see.

Pornography is a multi-billion dollar business, and therefore is widely available on the Internet. It is far more easy for our children to have access to pornographic materials than most would care to admit. Many articles have appeared in magazines highlighting the ease with which "adult" materials can be accessed. In many cases, all that is required is for the computer operator to certify that he is 18 years of age or older. Do they check to see if the person is really 18? Studies will verify that the answer is, NO!

We feel a need to help parents who are concerned for children who like to surf the net. At the bottom of this page you will find several programs which will prevent your children from having access to material which you find offensive.
